Choreutis equatoris (Walsingham)  

Choreutis equatoris was described by Walsingham in 1897 as Simaethis equatoris from French Congo (today the territory of the Republic of the Congo) as Simaethis equatoris (see reference to the original description below). The holotype is deposited at the BMNH (see images).
